Decorative Mirrors

mirror1We have always used mirrors as decorative elements in every room in our homes.  We know they make our space appear larger and when placed just right, mirrors can also add light as it reflects off of windows.  Today’s contemporary home mirrors are available in so many styles, it can become difficult to select the best one for our needs.  Wall mirrors, floor mirrors and even mirror combinations are all part of the way we use mirrors today.

Usually, we decide which mirror to buy based on its frame.  In traditional rooms, we tend to look for those mirrors with wood frames or even decorative metal vines.  In more modern homes, those mirrors outlined in chrome or other metals usually work well.  Modern Furniture Warehouse has over 650 different mirror styles, sizes and shapes for every room in your home.

The traditional Cheval mirror is an exquisite floor mirror that’s ideal for a bedroom.  It’s 68″ high and 24.5″ wide and is framed in a darker wood finish. Its straight lines on three sides are capped with a curving crown for dramatic flair.

A staff favorite, the beautiful Varo Mirror is round with intricate aged bonze framing that overlaps the mirror itself.  It’s diameter is 34.25″ and adds personality to a hallway, dining or living room wall.  Thinking a vintage look is what you need?  The collection of Sunburst Mirrors are a throwback to the 1960s with aggressive lines and the mirror that rests in mirrorthe center of the design.

If it’s a table mirror you’re looking for, the Asian mirror is compact enough for a bathroom vanity or makeup table, but more than enough to meet your needs.  Its black frame and curved decorative elements make it a feminine inclusion for the powder room.

Of course, these are just a few of the many mirrors we have available.  If you’re looking to make a bold statement with mirrors, consider grouping them onto one wall for a unique look that’s both modern and interesting.  Be sure to include modern and traditional mirrors as well as various shaped mirrors for even more flair.
