Kitchen Cart Glossary

Braces – Reinforcements used for added strength and durability

Butcher’s Block – Very thick and sturdy cutting surface placed in some kitchen carts and used to cut vegetables, fruits or meats.

Casters – Wheels added to a kitchen cart for extra mobility.  Locking casters provide a way to ensure your cart isn’t moved from its place.

Enclosed Storage – These carts have additional storage that’s behind cabinets or in drawers.

Knife Block – Optional knife holders, usually wooden, mounted on the side of a kitchen cart.
