arborMany of us see our lawn and garden as an extension of our home.  Each season, we carefully and lovingly landscape using our favorite flowering plants, meticulously groom our lawns and select our garden decorations so that it all blends seamlessly.  In fact, selecting garden décor and accessories is part of the fun.  After a Saturday afternoon spent on caring for every blade of grass and arranging our garden and lawn accessories perfectly, nothing is more satisfying than watching both the sun go down and the neighborhood’s envy go up.

Many of us are lacking a green thumb.  This is where garden decorations can pick up the slack in our landscaping efforts.  Beautiful garden benches, an arbor that’s strategically placed and maybe a sundial can easily be incorporated to compensate for a lack of plants and shrubbery.

For a beautiful way to display annuals and other greenery, consider caldron sets.  They usually follow the same theme, but in different sizes and shapes.  It’s the perfect way to show off your gardening efforts.  That’s not to say, however, that you should avoid mixing and matching pottery and other containers.  It’s all about creativity and allowing your imagination to rule your efforts.  The use of pots and caldrons add a bit of flair and texture.

As the current seasons begin to shift, we generally take precautions to protect our plants such as pruning them back or storing them out of harsh cold winds.  Although most garden decorations are constructed to endure the outside arbor1elements, a few precautions taken now will allow you to enjoy your lawn decorations for many seasons to come.  Especially during cold and wet winter months, you might wish to store your benches and wooden pots.  The same goes for metal planters, benches and fountains too.

Finally, don’t forget to add a delightful garden gnome to watch over your lawn and home.  They’re cute little creatures and children delight in them.  They’re ideal for adding a splash of color in greenery.
