Water Fountain Glossary

Acrylic – Similar to glass, this incredibly strong plastic is used often in water fountains.

Clarifier – A chemical sometimes used to prevent mineral build up and water stains.

Edging Stones -Pebbles or stones that line the edge of some water fountains to enhance a natural appearance.

Floor fountains – Indoor or outdoor fountains that sit on the floor.

Fogger – Optional accessory some fountain owners like to incorporate to create a mist or fog.

Pump – The electric mechanism that drives the water force to circulate through your waterfall.

Zen Waterfalls – Asian influenced designs are featured in Zen fountains.  It’s the Chinese art of balancing nature’s energies.
