Outdoor Recreation Glossary

ATV – All-terrain vehicles for recreational use on trails, open country or along rivers.

Aquatic Accessories – Those items used in water activities and include fins, snorkels, goggles, life jackets or anything else associated with oceans, lakes, pools or rivers.

Pontoon Boat- Floating structure with a flat bottom used on waterways.

Roll Cage – Metal frame installed on ATV’s that protect the driver and passenger in the event of an accident.

Anti-Wicking Fabrics – Materials that are waterproof and used in cell phone covers and storage bags that hold watches, wallets and other valuables while on the water.  Floatable, these offer protection in the event of accidents.
