Bean Bag Chair Glossary

Faux Fur – This is a synthetic polyester material that is used to cover many bean bag chairs.  It’s both soft and eco-friendly.

Bean Bag Filler – Up until recently, the materials used to fill bean bags was polystyrene.  Today, it’s still incorporated; however, it’s now recyclable and far more affordable.

Media Room Chairs – Similar to bean bag chairs, these have a bit more form and present as a more traditional chair.  It sits low to the floor, just as a bean bag and usually has no arms. Those who play video games prefer these chairs.

Floor pillows – Similar to bean bag chairs, these oversized pillows are designed to use as you would bean bags.  They offer ultimate comfort.

Hemp Bean Bags – These bean bags are made from Romanian hemp fibers and is quickly growing in popularity, partially due to its being grown without dangerous pesticides.  It’s a great filling choice.
