Patio Furniture Glossary

Attached Pillow – Pillows that can’t be removed.  Found in chaise loungers and other outdoor furnishings.

Nesting Tables – A set of tables, each that stores under the next largest.  They work well on patios due to the ability to store them when not in use.

Eucalyptus – Hard wood sometimes found in outdoor furnishings due to its density and durability.  It’s often preferred over other woods since it won’t decay.

Powder Coat – A finishing agent used on aluminum furniture to prevent to dulling as well to protect it from the elements.

Teak – Popular wood for outdoor furniture.  Not as affordable as other woods such as eucalyptus, it remains a favorite for many.
