Common Definitions for Water Fountains

Table Fountain – A free-standing water fountain that can be easily moved from room to room.

Wall Fountain – A water fountain that is attached to a wall.

Reservoir – Holds and circulates the water at the base of a fountain.

Pump – Circulates the water from the reservoir to the fountain.

Fountain Head – Where the water begins its descent from the reservoir.

Closed-loop System – Water is self-contained and constantly re-circulates from the reservoir via hidden pump.
